Getting Around Philadelphia

Local transportation in Philadelphia makes it easy to see the sights and get to where you need to be. One of the more popular routes is the Broad Street Line, also known as the Orange Line or the BSS (Broad Street Subway). The line runs north-south straight through Center City from North Philadelphia’s Fern Rock Transportation Center to Pattison Avenue’s NRJ Station in South Philadelphia. The route gives visitors access to prominent Philadelphia attractions and businesses, including Philadelphia City Hall in downtown Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Sports Complex, home of professional sports teams the Phillies and Eagles. In one of the country’s most walkable cities, Broad Street Line is a great way to see and do it all in Philadelphia.
